Your health and safety are my highest priority. I am fully vaccinated and I hope that you and your loved ones will soon be too. As we transition out of the pandemic and vaccination becomes widespread, government guidelines are changing. Out of an abundance of caution, however, I and the chiropractors with whom I work are continuing to require masking and social distancing. This page summarizes the COVID-19 precautions that I take to keep you (and me) safe.
I wash my hands before and after each massage. Hand-washing facilities and hand sanitizer are available to you.
I wear a mask at all times and I ask you to do the same. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided. Masks must be worn over the nose and mouth. If you are not able to wear a mask for health reasons, the massage cannot be provided. Masks with an exhalation valve are not allowed because the one-way valve only protects the person wearing it.
Massage cannot be performed while maintaining six feet of distance. However, I ask that you help me maintain social distancing before and after your massage session (intake, payments, scheduling, home care, questions, etc.).
Cleaning and Sanitation
I take extra time between sessions to completely disinfect the treatment room. Here are the steps I take:
The massage table, sealed in a plastic cover, is disinfected before clean sheets are put on it
Pillows, sealed in vinyl covers, are disinfected before clean pillow cases are put on them
All surfaces and equipment in the treatment room are disinfected
Used sheets and pillow cases are placed in a sealed container
