A POWERFUL THERAPY FROM CALIFORNIA 

Bomi is proud to be the first practitioner to introduce New York City clients to Hendrickson Method Orthopedic Massage, a transformative, results-oriented manual therapy developed in Berkeley, California. Receiving hands-on training from Dr. Tom Hendrickson at the Hendrickson Method Institute deepened his resolve to be of service to others. It equipped him with the knowledge and skills to provide this effective and lasting treatment to his clients. 

Approach

As a former mechanical engineer responsible for quality control in Silicon Valley, Bomi has a passion for finding the root causes of soft tissue conditions and skillfully using orthopedic and sports massage to restore muscle performance. He develops a customized treatment plan to address the unique needs of each client.

Experience

Bomi has nearly 20 years of experience providing orthopedic and sports massage in private practice and with leading doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapists in New York and California. He has treated competitive athletes, professionals, healthcare workers, seniors, and others suffering from acute and chronic muscular conditions.

Education

Bomi is trained in a range of massage therapy modalities, pathology, disease, illness and injury, and contraindications of massage for various medical conditions. He received his professional training and certifications from:

  • Body Therapy Center, Palo Alto, CA - Certification in Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Massage, Clinical Massage and Bodywork, Neuro Massage, Anatomy, Physiology, and Kinesiology 

  • Hendrickson Method Institute, Berkeley, CA - Certification in Hendrickson Method Orthopedic Massage and Manual Therapy

  • Finger Lakes School of Massage, Mt. Kisco, NY - Continuing education in Pathology, Kinesiology, and Nervous Systems
